LED BULBS

    Information:

Dimmable  =  Variable power / intensity
A 'dimmable' bulb works on a conventional installation - with or without a dimmer.
To adjust the power of a dimmable product, a dimmer is needed on the product or the power line.
A non-dimmable bulb malfunctions on a product or line with a power dimmer.
The mentions (CRI/IRC) Ra80 or Ra90 & Ra97 are the renderings of the colors:
    Ra80: good rendering. Ra90 & Ra97: excellent rendering.
    Mentions 2700K / 3000K / 4000K / 5000K / 6500K: lighting heat
2700K: Very warm white, similar to halogens.
3000K: Warm white, a little more dynamic, it yellows the illuminated surface less.
    4000K: Neutral white, dynamic effect.
5000K: Cold white / 6500K: Very cold white.

Important note: An old transformer (driver) or dimmer for halogen lamp will produce the malfunction of an LED bulb. It is also advisable not to place a halogen lamp on the same supply line of an LED. Our advice is therefore to replace all halogen bulbs when installing LEDs in a supply line, and ideally throughout the room.
